The Legend of Zelda~the games of games~

I planed to post an update before, but that would have been a boring one. This is a gaming blog after all.
So here it is, an update at last. I also thought I would start using leagal photos. My conscience took over at the end.

Here I go. The Legend of Zelda game series. My good old favourite. Actually, is not that long since I started playing the games. Well, I played a little "Link to the past" for GBA in my childhood, but I didn't like it that much. Too difficult for me. But at Junior High, I bought Wind Waker for my precious GameCube, and I LOVED it! It was like a game revolution for me! I never finished it though.

Me and my younger brother have played a lot of Zelda together. Mostly Wind Waker for GC and Phantom Hourglass for Dual Screen.

The other game I fell in love with was Phantom Hourglass. The first Zelda game for DS. It is a lot of fun, though I finished it after a couple of weeks or something. (I had to start over after my brother deleted my save)
The game is easy to play, therefore I like it. The way you move around is simply brilliant! You have to try it yourself if you alredy haven't.

Now, after some years I have become a big fan of the Zelda gameseries. I'll make a list of the games I own along with a comment.

Phantom Hourglass - DS - my favourite
Spirit Tracks - DS - fun at the start. Driving train and stuff but got boring.
Twilight Princess - GameCube and Wii - a bit too dark for me, but really fun
Wind Waker - GameCube - fun all the way
Four Sword - GameCube and GameBoy Advance - different, but fun
Link to the Past - GameBoy Advance - really hard to play
Link's Awakening - GameBoy Color - fun, but hard to play

I also have Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask and some older games for GameCube, but I haven't played them much so. The moon in MM is WAY to scary >__<

I'm totally looking farward to Skyward Sword for Wii >W<

Mario Party and Otep

Lately, my girlfriend and I have been playing a lot of Mario Party 4 for the GameCube.
It's a lot of fun! There are tons of funny minigames and even more of those who are not all that funny, but all in all it's a rally good game. ...for a party. Playing the game alone doesn't seem that fun. Maybe someone think it is, but I guess it's made for more than one person to play. Like 3 or 4. I also have Mario Party 8 for Nintendo Wii. There you have to do more variant things than just press one button all the time.
MP 4 is much simpler, and therefore I love it. I know, I'm wierd.
For christmas I wish for Mari Party DS, which is awsome!



























I also have been listening to this band... actually I've been listening to TWO new bands. Otep and Depeche Mode. Both are great in different ways after my opinion.
Otep really have some great songs. I never thought I would end up listening to them. It's like a female taht screams, raps, growls and sings! How much better can it be!? However, some songs are too boring for me to like them. I like "The Lord is my Weapon", "Crooked Spoons" and actually the whole "The Ascension" album. Personaly, I think Otep is like a Marilyn Manson and Slipknot hybrid of something.
Depeche Mode is great. They have totally their own sound and many songs that gets stuck in my head all day.
I haven't heard it all yet but I like of course "Precious", "Break the Silence", "Everything Counts", "Walking in my Shoes", "People are People", "Wrong" and so on.

And PS, I don't kill if you comment.

My biggest dream

My biggest dream is to go to Japan with my girlfriend. I have saved for as long as I can remember (which normaily isn't very long, but still). I want to go as soon as possible, because life is short. That's just how it is.

I will try to get a new job soon. I can't stand the fact that I'm not saving as much money as I can. I want to have a good time in Japan and I want to stay there for more than one week.
I'm looking for an easy job nearby. I cant't work much in weekends, so I'll try one or two days a week maybe.


Today, I have been drawing. I drawed a selfportrait for the secound time in my life. It will soon be out on my DA-account. So beware.

Movie night with friends

Yesterday, Mari-kun celebrated her birthday. Many people were invited, but only Haidi-sempai, Mari-kun herself and I showed up. Not a big deal really. That is what we are used to and we never have a problem finding something to do.

We always end up watching a bunch of scary movies, which we all love.
I always get scared.
First off, we watched Jennifers Body with Megan Fox, then we watched Detour wich is a Nowegian scary movie, followed by The Uninvited. Scary as hell >w< but totally fun of course.

Horror is my favourite genre. I don't want to watch them at the same time as I WANT to watch them.
I don't get nightmares though. Lucky me

Pokèmon Pinball

I'm gonna talk about Pokèmon Pinball this time. Why so? You see. Today, I bought this game called "Pokèmon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire" to my GameBoy Advance from a friend of mine at school. The reason why I bought this was because I recently borrowed a game from Natta-sama called "Pokèmon Pinball" which was for GameBoy Color. Short time after that, I was totally addicted.
It is lots of time to play at school. I have like 2-4 hours free in the middle of the day. Every day. And I don't got enough homework to fill those hours. Boring you say? I've gotten used to it.

Anygays, the new Pokèmon Pinball game is a lot more advanced and colorful. It has also a lot of new pokemon. ONLY new pokemon to be more precise. I don't like that too much. Actually I can't stand the new ones. I don't even know a single name. But the game itself is much more entertaining, so I don't care.

Now. Over to something complete different. My Japanese-studying is going forward. We're after the scedual long time ago, but at least, I'm studying like never before. I just have to pass. Wish me luck!

Gaming blog FTW

Finally I'm starting on my gameblog. It'll be about games, consoles and gaming.
There will be other things than games and such as well, but the blog will be totally different than previously.

Halloweenweekend

Halloween is coming up this sunday and the plans are all set up.
On friday there is a sleepover-halloween-party at Andrès house which I am attending. This will be a celebration of his birthday. After that, Mia-chan is coming over at my place and stays till sunday;  the day of halloween. I am totally looking farward to it.

And btw. I woke up saturday only to find out that the water in our house is gone, wich makes it almost impossible to shower and such at home. Hopefully we will get it back tomorrow. I wish

Freedom at last

When I came home today, I found myself all alone. My parents had left, and I am to be alone untill saturday, feeding my dog and my totally senile stepgrandmother. Well, I feel free as long as my mom and stepdad is not present. It feels really good indeed. At times like this, I wish to live alone. Ok, my girlfriend and a dog is needed of course. I can not live without either.

In Desember, I am going to be alone with my dog for 15 whole nights! I am totally looking forward to that.

My hair is now pink by the way. To transform it from dyed black to bright pink, costed me 1050 NOK. I am now broke and I have no longer a job. Yey

But anygays. I think my blog will turn into a gaming-blog soon. Please wait and see.

Fritt Vilt III

This post will be about the thing that took place this night.
Haidi-sempai, Mari-kun, Mia-chan, One-more-person-I-do-not-remember-the-name-of and I went all to see this year most creepy Norwegian horror film. It was... AWSOME O.O

I had read the critic and watched the trailer. The critic was not that encouraging. Not a shock for such Norwegian films. However, the trailer was awsome :3 I was totally looking forward to see it. I do NOT care about one persons opinion; so called critisism.

Coscon 2010

Coscon is a convention in Oslo for freaks aka Japan interested people. Coscon is a con that is mostly about cosplay.

My friends and I went there saturday this weekend. It was a lot of fun. We ate, danced, starved, and almost froze to death. The place was totally dark and way to smal. So only dark pictures and the stands was smaller than ever.

Well. I had fun because of the people. I do not care about neither location nor weather. My friends are the best.
